Salutations! I'm Anita. It's about time you stopped by! I'm a hairstylist, wife, mother, writer, baker, dream follower, barista, adventure seeker, soul of a gypsy, heart of a hippie and spirit of a fairy... I started blogging in 2009 where I began my story as a way for my family on the other side of the world to follow my daily musings. Since then my story as evolved. Nowadays, you'll find me talking about hair, sharing recipes of delicious goodies, inspiration for like-minded people and day to day plot twists.
My heart will always call the Pacific Northwest my home. I'm married to a bearded man who likes to make cars go fast and when I'm not making people beautiful during the day I'm at home being silly with my best friend, who I'm lucky to call my husband. And then when I'm not sitting here telling tales on my blog I'm out wrangling my little human, Sebastian. My six-year-old dude who is the keeper of my soul and holder of my heart.
Life is an adventure and I'm a slave to it. Most the time I like to look at the beauty of this world through a lens and am constantly trying to capture moments to tuck them away for later. This place is the keepsake of those moments and I'm so happy to share them with you.
