on our dinner...

Right after the ceremony we took some finishing pictures and headed right up to the Attic in Salish. The Attic is known for being a laid back restaurant and is up on the highest floor in the lodge. The best part is that the it also has the best view of the Falls inside the lodge as well :) We chose to have dinner at the Attic instead of the more upscale & fancy restaurant downstairs mainly because the menu was more our style and also the prices were a little more reasonable. Not only that the vibe is so much more fun!

Bobby and I had our own little table to share and everyone else sat around us. Our party had our own little area of the restaurant to enjoy. It was really nice because even though the place was busy with people it really did feel like we had a little spot light shinning on us. It was special!
Doesn't matter even on one of the biggest day of my life, being a mommy always comes first. My worn out tired little boy slept peacefully in the loaded restaurant in my arms for a while. And even though my salmon soup that I picked for dinner cooled down it didn't bother me at all as long as I got to hold that little boy in my arms. I love him so much and was so happy. I cannot wait to show him all the pictures of him running around the isle runner being a goofball. Such great memories to have!
Our cake turned out amazing, seriously stunning! The buttermilk cake and cream cheese filling was divine. Simple yet had personality. We cut up most of it and handed it out to all our family & friends to take home. Share the love!!!

on Seattle day #3...

Today Bobby and I woke up way before the sun rose to head down to Pike Place Market to meet Ashley & Ross our photographers. They wanted to squeeze an engagement shoot before the wedding and what better place than Pike Place :) It was so much fun. There are zillions of possibilities to explore there and we had the best time creating lovely photos.
After the shoot we were both super hungry! As we were walking back to the car to drop off our extra outfits that we changed out of for the shoot we spotted a cute little bistro. Bacco.
I got the Original Benedict &
Bobby got the Crab and Avocado Benedict :D

After our tummies were full we headed right over to the King County Court House. Yes, indeed. We picked up our marriage license. Eeeeeekkk!

Lastly we took a trip to the Edmonds Ferry to hitch a ride. Sebastian was in love. Since my dad works for the ferry system he was always get to get vip passes on and even 1/2 price on the food in the store inside the ferry boat. Now if that isn't special then I don't know what is :D

It has been such a busy day! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Tomorrow Bobby's family is flying in the afternoon. Can't wait to see them!!!
Only 4 days until the big day.

on Seattle day #2...

On day two I woke up nice and early and started on some wonderful homemade waffles for everyone. My dad has a great waffle maker that works like magic. Everyone woke up to yummy steamy waffles with their choice of toppings :)

In the afternoon Bobby and I had a meeting with Lisa, who will be our minister at the wedding. I worked with Lisa at ,my first job, Great Harvest in Everett (well, was in Everett but now is closed) and who is now a licensed minister :) She is super cute and funny and will give our little special ceremony just the right feel! It was fun to drive through where I grew up Snohomish because we've yet to get down there since we've got here. It brought back so many memories and I saw so much that had changed over the years that some parts I couldn't even recognize. Lisa told us everything she has planned on saying and in what order. She even read over both our vows that each of us wrote to one another. Lisa said that she has not ever had a single man go through with writing their own vows :) So, I thought that was cool! My man is bomb :) In the end we left her house feeling just that much more excited for the big day knowing how great it was going to come together. I really am just so pleased with how well everything is fitting. Yay.

Once we got home this lovie was waiting for me...
It's my JoTote! I love it. It's my new camera bag. I adore it and it's never leaving my side!

That night we went out with Tanya-- my maid of honor and Matt-- Bobby's best man. We decided on starting at Boston's in Mill Creek and then shifted over to La Palmera & then lastly to Azuls.
It was a really good time. I miss Tanya with everything I have and always have a great time with her. I can't wait to see what she has in store for my bachelorette party this Thursday!

on sunday family fun day (Seattle Edition)...

Today was very relaxing. All three of us were a little out of whack with time change. Sebastian was up at 5am briefly. So was I...Then we woke up around 7am. Once we all were up and ready for the day we all took a trip to Trader Joe's to get some shopping done. It was our first real outing and it was nice. We stocked up on some very delicious Eggplant Hummus that we pretty much ate as soon as we got home with yummy sesame crackers and these amazing lovies...
These dumplings are so good. I seriously thought I could eat the whole plate. Especially with the chili sweet sauce. Yumm-o!

Later on Dad & Sebastian had a wrestle match on the couch while everyone was laughing and cheering on. Sebastian and my dad are so funny to watch and are ridiculous goofballs together!!

Dinner tonight courtesy of Xeni (step-mom) was pan seared salmon with parsley potato's. It was a feast. And while we waited we snacked on some shrimp with cocktail sauce. This is something my dad always manages to have for us when we are in for a visit.

Tonight Dad & Xeni wanted Sebastian in their bed. All I could hear for a good twenty minutes was tons of giggling (most of it coming from Xeni!). But in the end he fell a sleep oh so cute next to my dad. We'll see how long it will last :D

Day two starts tomorrow. Only 5 days until the big day!!
