on some new lovies...

Today I took a trip to Pier One. I had a lovely gift card to spend from when I was out in Seattle (Noel if you're reading, THANK YOU!). I am seriously in love with that store. I walked around drooling over all the beautiful things and in the end went with these lovies...
A new electric blue colander, a dreamy new whisk and fun measuring cups. All things I've been desperately needing in my kitchen. And now I have! Hurray!

PS. Tonight's 300th post :)

PSS. Tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY :D

on a medley...

Today after work I wanted to run to the grocery store before picking up Sebastian to get a few things for dinner and some milk. There's a store not too far from Sebastian's daycare that I've only been to once before. As I was picking up all our essentials I ran into a wall full of amazing k-cups. I have a Keurig that Bobby bought me a few Christmas' ago and I love it to death. There was a period of time where we ended up not using it much. Not sure why, I think because for a while grocery stores didn't carry k-cups and we didn't have any way to stock up on coffee. But now they are everywhere! I was excited when my eyes found some of these gems...
Nantucket Blend is my favorite mild coffee that Green Mountain has to offer. It's smooth yet not too strong. Don't get me wrong I like a strong cup of coffee but I can be more picky with my bold blends. I found this lovely Cafe Mocha :) Which I thought would be perfect for Bobby and sure enough he loves it! He made a cup before we went to work tonight. Score for me. I haven't yet gotten a Chai Latte k-cup before and have been meaning to so, we will see if I like it. Then lastly Twinings Earl Gray tea. I got the Bigalow brand of Earl Gray a couple weeks ago and it was yuck! It has such a gross plastic taste to it and I haven't really had much of the box. I'll save that for unexpected guests. Just kidding. Or am I?! I was happy for this little find and can't wait to try them all.

Boys will be boys and they need their hardy meat & potatoes. I made them up some breaded pan fried chicken with garlic & parsley oven roasted potatoes. When Bobby has work at night I don't have a lot of time to work with from the time I get home to the time until he has to leave. So quick and easy dishes have been my friend.
I love the way red potatoes look before they go in the oven with the little sprinkles of parsley. So pretty.
Bobby really likes chicken breaded this way. With just flour and eggs. It's one of his favorites. Annnnnnd that's dinner tonight. What are you cooking up? I'm thinking about making my first ever cheesecake. Hopefully this weekend I'll have some time. I'll let you know how that one goes.

Hoping the sun will be shining tomorrow. Bobby has work again tomorrow night so he'll be catching some shut eye while we're awake. Planning on spending the day out and about with Sebastian doing some errands and playing outside.

on a few good things...

This weekend was nice. It was the first weekend that Bobby was off both Saturday and Sunday since about six months. Because of the new year his work schedule changed again. So now he will have a whole weekend off every other week. I love this half of the year.

I finally was able to take this gem out of the box and give it some attention.
Take notice that my son is using our couch as a trampoline. And yes, he can jump real high.
Anyways, I took this baby on a little trip over to the mother in-law who was a peach and helped me thread the machine. I have never really threaded one before and I probably could have sat down on my own and read the instructions to figure it out but I felt the need to have some guidance. In the end we just sat down together and used the manual to figure it all out since my machine is a little newer than hers, not to toot my own horn or anything ;) It went a lot quicker than I thought it would and we even found out that there is a very handy automatic needle threader! Now that I figured that little function out I am able to thread the machine in no time at all! I just want to have a giggle fit just thinking about it.
Now the fun begins. My first project will be the hemming of some jeans that I bought back in October that are abnormally long. Those need to get done so I can, um, wear them!
In the mean time awhile I am just going to do little odd projects here and there and I want to try to make time in my schedule to take a local sewing class. Annnnnd trying to get my mother in-law to be my partner in crime, I think it would be a nice thing to do together since it's something we both have an interest for. So, if your reading this darling..Let's talk!
By the way, now that I am showing off my gem here I should show you this other gem that I got for Christmas from none other than the mother in-law..
Cutest sewing box ever. I love the Paris theme to it, perfect in my mind and it will be great to keep all my goodies organized.

Another good things that came out of this weekend is my new collection of lovely tights!
I swear Target is the best. These were only five dollars each! Such a bargain. Black leopard print, gray, floral and purple! Spring here I come. I'm ready for you.

What are you reading lately? I actually put a nice dent in the book I am reading called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It started out pretty slow but now I feel like I am part of the characters. I've been sucked into the game full force with raw emotions. It's crazy what a book can make you feel. I will definitely want to read the other two books to this adventure.

Lastly I wanted to share with you a few pictures of my cat. I made it my goal this year to try to give her a little extra love (even though she doesn't really take my love with arms wide open). Also because I feel like all the bloggers out there have cats. What's up with that? Is that a sort of requirement? Not sure about that one but any who this is my cat and her name is Cat or Kitty or even Cica, which means cat in Hungarian. She is called many things in our household but those are the post popular ;)

on a bit of goodness...

--------------on a bit of goodness----------------

Start out with saying that with the new year I am working with a new blog friend :) who is helping me re-model this here blog! I am so excited and you should be too! Hoping to have it up by the end of this month.

Isn't he handsome?! I think so :D I've been feeling such overwhelming pride for this little boy. He has made such an amazing jump in his speech that it has me staggering. Going from working & learning words he has gone straight to phrases. And boy are they the funniest ones ever. Just last week his speech therapist, Yvonne was speechless after not seeing him for two weeks due to the holidays at the things he was saying and doing. He sat down with her and did a whole matching game all on his own. Something he actually initiated and took out of Yvonne's bag. Yvonne's reaction was just as mine when she said to me "he should not be able to do this, this is higher level stuff!".
He still isn't quite there yet but certainly on his way.
So, indeed I am blustering with pride and love sharing it with you :)

Got these gems in the mail yesterday. At size 00 these lovies are what I will be wearing when I wed. They are just perfect for the day and the white rose inlays are beautiful. I've been searching for the right plugs for the big day :) And now I have them. They don't fit just yet but by May they will.

Awakened also came out yesterday and was sent to my baby Kindle in the morning. It was a nice surprise when I booted up the little guy and saw the words "new" and "Awakened" next to it. I had pre-ordered it a couple weeks ago to make sure I didn't forget about it. I put my current book, The Hunger Games, on the back burner for the time being since it will only take me a little while to read this book. I love this series and is definitely on my top vampire series list. Yes, I have one of those lists...

Lastly before I leave you, so I can get my butt of the couch and be useful...
This weekend I will be getting a new piercing. One that I've been wanting for a very long time but just haven't gotten around to it. Like so many other things. I will leave it at that because it will be a surprise. Don't hate me. I take pleasure in the small things. Muwahahhaa.

on a listy list of random goodness...

Yes, this is my listy list. Not much of a post but come on! I'm boring at the moment. Nothing is happening. I feel like work is all I do whether it is at home or actually at work...I wish I drank wine.

Like my new picture up in the top there. Up to the left. Uh huh, right there. That's me getting a kiss from a certian someone who is the cutest most loveable boy ever. Makes my heart melt. I snapped the picture too soon because he reached up to put his little hands on my cheeks for the ulimate kiss. I will treasure these moments. Sooner or later he'll be like Ewwwww mom, take those plugs out of your ears. So embarressing. Your like..old.

Speaking of plugs, take a look at my new size 0 plugs. They are my new gems.
Cool eh? That's what I thought future Sebastian, son of mine :)

It's finally here my friends. Thank god my neighbors at work are yes, the F.Y.E guys. Which surely I will be the first one to receive my Eclipse movie :) And no, not because I threatened them...

Blog Love baby! My first e-course from A Beautiful Mess. The biggest blog inspiration ever! I found this lovie on one of my all time most favorite blogs that I follow EVERYDAY. This is a course with 12 sessions of blogging goodness. Elise shares different things that will help you become a better blogger like; Find your online voice, free promotions and networking for bloggers, and even photography for bloggers! I am very thrilled for her to feature this because learning more about how I can network and become more involved has been a goal of mine for a while. Best part is that I can follow at my own pace. You recieve the full course upon purchase and get to just enjoy it on your own time. Perfect for my schedule, let me tell ya ;) If you want more info or want to join then go here.

Did you see Glee lastnight. Oh. my. god.
Loved it! The grand finale with them singing Florance + the Machine- Dog days are over I about died and went to heaven. I'm serious. I loved it that much. Oh and I also really really want to be Brittanys friend. Thanks.

Lastly a note...

Dear The Vampire Academy Series,
Please stop taking up so much of my time. It is very irritating. I should be able to put you down when my son of all people comes up to me and shoves his juice cup into my face asking to gethimmorejuice! You are making me become a bad parent who doesn't hydrate my child.
Oh and presenting me with awesome fight scenes that have me actually up on my feet as I read them pretending I am one of the good guys killing the bad. That is not normal. So please stop owning my life!

Ps...Tanya Mastikash, this is mostly all your fault :-p

on some weekend finds...

The weekend went by quick but I do feel like we got alot accomplished. Did wash, visited the new little baby girl Lilly & visited the family, folded clothes, put clothes away (yes, most times this step doesn't happen. Instead the folded clothes sit in the laundry basket. Sigh), bought fifteen bags of groceries, put groceries away, and cooked some dinner. OH and cleaned around the apartment here and there. Not bad I say. I know we did good when I can sit down on the couch and not feel my eyelids are getting heavier and heavier with every minute passing. That is success in my book!
I wanted to share with you some new finds from the food store.
First find Snyder's York Peppermint Pretzel Sandwiches. If you don't like york peppermints then of course this is not for you but both Bobby and I kill for yorks and the pretzel combo is to die for. Great for a sweet tooth.
Secondly Kraft Philadelphia PUMPKIN SPICE creamcheese! I about keeled over when I saw this on the shelf earlier today. It is fabulous. Just think of it, instead of making regular plain everyday creamcheese frosting for pumpkin bars buy this stuff and make pumpkin spice flavored creamcheese frosting. Too much pumpkin you say, I think NOT!
Lastly, a pear. Yes, this is a new find for me. I will say that the grocery store that is down the street displayed these pears so beautifully that I just had to buy a few. Now, if you know me you also know I am not a huge pear fan or a fan of any fruit for that matter. I just don't care for the taste and texture of fruits but I am working on it. Today I had half of that there pear and did in fact enjoy it :) I recommend a pear to you my friend.

Also a few words on this lovie...
Burt's Bees to me is an amazing product. I love most everything they have out on the counter. This however is one of my favorites. It is a little expensive but so worth it especially if you have dry, cracked hands like I do. With my hands constantly running under water at work and with the cold weather my hands can crack and even bleed. It is on the oily side and very thick so you don't need much to layer your hands. It doesn't soak into your skin so quick and leaves your hands feeling hydrated for a long while. The scent of almond is delightful as well. Two thumbs up for this baby!

Our sweet elderly neighbors next door gave us this small t.v for Sebastian to have in his room. Bobby set it up on his dresser with our old dvd player (and yes it is safe and secure on the dresser we made sure of that, what do you take us for? Bad parents?). It was love at first sight for Sebastian and is actually in his room watching a movie at this very moment.

Finally since I didn't feel like slaving forever in the kitchen cooking a five course meal I strickly made up some breaded chicken for the boys with some greenbean casserole. I just had to share this new casserole recipe with you since it is by far the best I've ever made. I don't know about you but I like my casserole to be thick and saucey.
This recipe [here] is what I followed and turned out like this! Creamey mushroomcheeseygreenbeangoodness! Thank you Paula Deen.

Any new finds you got going on?

on some good things...

It's been a very busy week although it did go rather fast. Yesterday we had a full day of shopping. Mainly food shopping however I did do some slight shopping at Target. So, sue me. Remember when I told you about the pumpkin shortage. Well, never fear WEGMANS is here. To the rescue that is! We did our shopping at Wegmans and pumpkin was on my list from the start. Underlined a million times. Circled with stars. I had faith in Wegmans and I was right with my gut feeling. They had a nice full shelf of Libby's Canned Pumpkin! I couldn't believe it and I actually was jumping up and down in the isle. I even turned to the women next to me and said they have pumpkin, did you know we have a pumpkin shortage? No? Well, we do! Take a look.
Yes sir, that you see is a grand total of eight cans. What! I couldn't resist :) That means eight pumpkin pies. My mouth is watering.

Earlier this week I recieved a nice surprise in the mail.
My bestfriend forever Te Te sent this gem my way :) it was a pleasant surprise because I wasn't expecting it at all. She knows Urban Decay is my favorite ever and their palettes are always such a nice thing to have. I especially love this "Ammo" palette for it's fall colors. I broke it in today and tried it out.
Also another thing I've been meaning to share with you is this...

I am finally at a size 2! And probably at the size I will stay with for a couple months since I'm really only planning on go up two more sizes. Very exciting stuff. For me.

Enjoy this beautiful Sunday. I know I will :) It's Me and Bobby's four year anniversary! I will dish out all the details later tonight.

on a medley...

Inspiration is a beautiful thing. Don't you think? This new blog I found called Simple Breakfast has me aroused! It is a blog dedicated to breakfast. All there is, is photos of this women Jen's everyday breakfast. Take a look.
Aren't they mouth watering? I think so! I just love how beautiful a simply breakfast can really be, well of course it helps that the photos are very creative and are captured with such attitude. It's like it's speaking to you, don't I look exquisite. That's right, come and eeeattt me. Oh Oh, and the second picture with the coffee's steam spilling over the cup! GOD. I'll stop with saying that I'm in love. Yes, with the steam.

My point is that I would really like to offically have an outstanding feature here called Recipe Remix or R&R for sort since really that fits, I mean when I cook it's like a little rest & relaxation. For sure. I know I do post up some recipes here and there but I would like to do it more often since recently I've gotten a request for it :) Which I love by the way. Requests I mean. Anywho, I thought I would start this up I may do it everyday or just once a week. Too much pressure and I will break out in a cold sweat. And I know that you do not want that!

You will be happy to know that I got my REAL first r.s.v.p from one of the younger boy's (Andrew) father this morning. I was (jump up and down) happy! What made me even happier is that the guy was funny and actually had a sense of humor in the email that he had sent. He even went out of his way to ask if his wife and cake loving older son could come along otherwise he would just put him to work cleaning since he usually makes all the mess anyways. Ha. I thought that was hilarious. I did tell him that he better not dare leave the wifey and cake loving son at home because first of all I would like to have a female to chat with (because so far she would be the only one coming) and secondly there will be plenty of cake (since they are the only ones coming) and I will need help with getting rid of the cake. That way after the party I won't be in the corner stuffing my face with that particular cake. So, really I thank that cake loving boy very much! Aren't you excited for me? Now I guess I actually have to plan a party..hmm. Yeah, I should do that. Soon.

Today is the day that I offically started to stretch my ears. Granted I've only started out with a size 14g. So not a huge deal but I'm excited for it all. I was able to get a kit of different sized earrings from one of the gals I work with who by the way has her ears stretched to a size 00! I bought all her old jewerly off of her for a very reasonable price. This way I have everything I need already. I am going to take baby steps and do the process properly. Since if you do stretch too fast bad things can happen. I will show my process as it develops.

I am really needing to catch up on some movie watching. There are so many out that I still haven't gotten a chance to see. Depressing as it is but time has been slipping away from me. I want to see...
1. Remember Me-- Robert Pattinson, definitly a must see.
2. The Runaways-- I know, I've raved about it but never got to see it :(
3. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo--Swedish Version, everyone says it's super good.
4. Hot Tub Time Machine-- just because!
Are there any others you recommend?

Happy Day!

on a whole bunch of "ness"...

First of all, this week has been a hot one. I mean up in the low hundreds. Too hot for me if you ask. On weeks like these I just want fall back! Waaaa. But whatever I can't have everything. Not only has it been hot but also busy. I hate having to get used to another schedule change. Bobby is going to be working Sundays so now Saturdays will be our primary shopping and errand and running around crazy day. Then Monday will actually feel like Monday since Bobby works and Sebastian will be going to daycare. Ahhhh!

It's that time of the month and it's when I feel the most run down. I mean I am almost positive there is a pattern to my blogging life as well because on weeks like this last one I just can't come to do anything. I've been zippo productive. Makes me sad. I envy people that blog everyday (coughjuleecough). But I am determined to be here as much as I can, thoughts I have plenty! That's for sure. Just lazy, I guess.
I can't say that I've not done anything productive because I've got some reading done that I've been lacking on. So, that makes me smile. I've already showed you my reading list and dove head first into The Girl Who Played With Fire. I'm already hooked! And love it so much. Geez this Lisbeth Salander character, well, she is just frickin' awesome. I want to be her best friend forever. I want her to teach me her ways. I love how unorthadox she is and greatly powerful her personality can be. Plus I think she would make life that much more interesting! I really hope an American version of movie is put out soon.

Sebastian's birthday is coming up fast and with all the invites handed out to the daycare families we're just waiting for the r.s.v.p's. So far I've only got one from one of the boy's mothers actually saying that they already have plans with family that day (are you kidding me?) but if things change the week of she will let me know. That was nice of her and I really hope they show because at the rate we're going at doesn't look like Sebastian will be having much of his friends to play with. No, there is still time. I won't think negetivly. I already plan on putting a flyer up counting down the days and reminding all the parents of this particular birthday bash. Helllloo. I will even hunt each and every parent down until I get a legit "yes, we will attend Sebastian's 2nd Birthday party". COME ON. Sure, I haven't really met all the parents and do not know really any by name but for real, live a little. I'm telling you the truth when I say that I know for sure that if we got an invite to one of the other little kiddies birthday parties we would GO. Why? Because what's the worst that can happen. You go, eat some cake, sing a little, hear some crying or witness Sebastian knock some kid out (that was a joke), hand over the present/make a kid happy, met some people whether you dig them or not because who cares you can leave whenever you want, and then go home. No big deal. And in the end no matter what I know Sebastian would enjoy himself or vise versa. That's all that matters right? Heck yes!

Got a call from my dad this morning. I swear the guy knows more Philadelphia news than me. He asked me if I heard about the two Hungarian tourist that died Friday. I was like Whhhhaaaa?? Of course after getting off the phone and heading out for our errands first things first was the Sunday paper. Not only to read the Philadelphia news but also for the couuuupons. Yeah baby! Anways, can you believe that the Philly Ride The Duck tour boat crashed into a barge :( Everyone was forced to jump over board but unfortantuly these two Hungarian tourist one male at the age of 20 and one female at the age of 16! didn't make it. Makes my skin crawl and my heart goes out to the family back in Magyaroszag (Hungary).

Final subject my friends, I know you know this subject was a comin'...ECLIPSE! jdioapfeiwoanguhfejoiejnfdvuyghjropaksf;l...sorry my hands just got much too excited. No joke but right now I am breathing heavy. Palms are slightly sweating. I know, gross. I just can't help it. This movie was the BEST EVER! There were no let downs or disapointments or anything what so ever. Just pure amazingness. Edward and Bella were so adorable and both Robert & Kristen did a great job protraying their love affair. Which I honestly think having a realationship outside of the Twilight Saga helps :) Alot. I thought Rosalie was beautiful in the movie and her flash back was told so well. Same with Jasper who I have a new sort of tiny crush on. Okay, I have a crush on ALL the Twilight boys & girls, vamps and wolfs! Do you blame me? But wait now that I think about it and now that I am really letting out all my sweet dear emotions towards this particular movie I do now see that I didn't really care for the "new" Victoria. She didn't do it for me. Bryce Dallas Howard wasn't fierce enough. Didn't have that anger inside that the old Victoria did. Also thoughout the movie it was such love-hate towards Jacob which was great! He was hotness of course but also conniving and evil. But so, so hot. That made up for it. All in all, I don't care what everyone else says I think it was genius. And when I walked out of that theater and drove home my insides hurt. Hurt because I loved it so much, hurt because I wish that I could live this world (I do not care how lame this may sound to you) and hurt because the movie was over and how badly I wanted to march right back in and sneak into another viewing!!

Now to leave you with a good night fuzzy warmness just because there is a whhhhole lot of "ness" going on today :) Enjoy, and appreciate life people. It's so precious!

MINE!

on a new day...

Today was a new day. A new breath of fresh air.

Last night at midnight Eclipse was watched by millions if not billions of people. I was not one of that billion. Of course it came out on one of the weeks that Bobby has to work nights so it was hardly possible for me to see the midnight showing. Contrary to reason, I could of found a way but it being a work night wasn't the best idea. I'm an old lady for christ sake!! I most likely won't be able to get to see the movie until Thursday of next week which saddens me but nothing I can do. I've heard great things so far especially can't wait for Taylor's Never-Get-Old-Abs :)

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS! Part 1 comes out November 19th. Part 2 comes out July 15th 2011. Geeking out still at 21?? Is that okay? I DON'T CARE! It's basically the best ever that they are splitting up the movie, a dream come true for me. I know when I was reading the book for the first time that I didn't want it to end so I stretched the book out for a couple weeks of great reading. (Click here to view the trailer). Another lovie, can't wait :)

I finally received my Kindle pouch in the mail today. It came all the way from Thailand so it took a good week and a half. It was very neatly packaged and it hurt me to have to rip it apart!
Now I can allow myself to travel with my Kindle. I was much too nervious to do it before.

Tonight I decided that I wanted to bake but then also decided that I shouldn't use the oven since the AC was running all day. Sooooo I made Nutty No Bake Cookies. I know, I'm a genius. These I surely will be making many more times this summer. Firstly they are so easy and secondly they are about the most scrumptious cookie ever!
Here's how to go about making these delights--

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
 3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
3 cups oats
1/2 cup (chunky) peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup of your favorite chopped nuts (I used almonds)

In a large sauce pan, over low heat mix together sugar, cocoa, milk and butter until well combined. Bring to a rapid boil and maintain at a low boil for 4-5 minutes. You want it to boil for exactly 5 minutes. This is what makes them stick together and solidify. If you under cook them they will not harden enough (but just put them in the freezer for a little bit for an easy save) if you over cook them they will be too dry and crumbly and not form cookies-so watch out for that. After 4-5 minutes of boiling, remove pan from heat and quickly stir in vanilla and peanut butter. Once the peanut butter has mostly melted into the batter stir in oats and nuts. Spoon onto wax or parchment paper and allow to set up for 8-10 minutes. This will make 12-15 spoonful size cookies.

Try it :)

Lastly, I would like to thank every single person who has reached out to me about my last post. If you know me the subject at hand can get me all steamy. My very own Achilles Heel. I do see that there is no need to justify anything at all. I live a wholesome life and am happy for that. I've been doing great without any negative energy bringing me down and I will forever strive for it to stay that way. On the flip side I also see that I am the one that made the choice to live my life "out loud". Agreed & no regrets. Now lets do a hot dog fold, then hamburger fold, hot dog fold once more, than fold into a paper airplane, then throw into a gust of wind outside to let it set flight to a far far off place. And there it will stay.
I love the people I have in my life. For without you I would have no worth ;)

on a whole bunch of stuff...

Basically I've been doing so much. Cleaning, organizing, thinking, planning, playing and being a bum! I won't lie when I say this little break from work is doing me wonders. I am able to spend some real quaility time with Bobby & Sebastian, time that I was really missing. I've actually been able to take Sebastian on nice long walks and go to the playground instead of feeling rushed at the park to get home and cook dinner, clean, fold clothes, give 'Bastian a bath, shower myself and get things ready for the next day...repeat x5. Pretty sure there is more but I think you get the idea. It's just been nice. Sure it's not ideal that I'm not getting paid for these couple weeks but I don't care because we're not starving and I'm happy being able to see my son's smiling face everyday and kiss my man on his way out to work.
However, tomorrow I will be heading in for a few hours setting the shop back up to the way I like it. But none the less it will be great to get back behind the counter and give my fine customers back their much needed fix every morning starting Friday! Plus I've missed the coffee myself!!

This weekend we ended up borrowing the inlaws house. Yes. You heard me right. I've been planning to make a birthday dinner for Bobby which is pretty much a tradition with the Schuler family and is usually admistered by Mrs. Schuler. But I thought that I should finally take over Bobby's Birthday dinner. Anyways...this birthday dinner was going to be held at our place and would just been the immediate family. First because our apartment is small and secondly I didn't really want to cook for an army of people inside my dinky little kitchen. Then the mother-inlaw suggested we just have the dinner at their house since the weather is suppose to be hot & hummid and this way we can be outside and enjoy the pool. I thought that was a grand idea. We slept over Saturday night. Had the little bash on Sunday. Now that the get together was at a house and not our little apartment we started to invite more people. Bobby's aunt Cheryl and her family came plus Bobby's grandfather. Aaaaand Bobby invited a few friends. In the end I did feed an army :) With the help of some of the Schuler women. It went well and everyone had a nice time! We just might have to borrow the house more often. Why even buy a house for ourselves?!?

Some other lovies...

I've been vegetarian for a little less than 2 months now! It's fantastic and I'm loving everything about it. It's great opening people up to the many different things you can make and create out of all the yummy vegetables, beans and pastas out there. I am what I like to call a "foodie". Sure I enjoy eating the food but creating and making it is even better. A sort of hobby if you will. I will of course share more of the magnificent reciepes with you soon!

For all the people in Seattle I'm sorry to say that we are not going to come out to visit this summer. The original plans were that we would come out for a weeks visit in the begining of July before Sebastian turned 2 (so we don't have to pay for a seat on the plane one last time!) but we are feeling that with me not working these past couple weeks and how fast time is going (it's mid June aready!) that we are just not prepared to do it. The trade off is, and you will be happy to hear that we are going to 100% come out next summer and spend 2 full weeks with all you fine people. It sucks but I've come to terms with it because I myself don't feel like I am ready to see a certain someone just yet. This way I will have time to cool down and balance my feelings.

Only 14 days remaining until Eclipse is in theaters! I am beyond excited. Can't wait to see it. I ended up reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella and it wasn't all that great. It was alright and I had to read it because I was so curious about it. It was definately short because I read it in a couple hours but I really didn't have any interest in Bree and the newbie vamps at all. The best part of the book was the end when the Cullans killed off all the newbies :) sorry if that is morbid but hey, I like my Cullans!

Also I'm giddy about Toy Story 3 and naturely we are taking Sebastian to see it this weekend. He has aquried a very vast varitiy of Toy Story clothing and toys and even some Toy Story sandals we picked out yesterday! Which I wish they made adult size for I would totally rock them! Don't judge.

Have I told you that I religiously get my eyebrows Threaded. I used to get them waxed every couple weeks (I am european and they do grow fast and If I don't keep up with them I would soon resemble Michael J. Fox in Teen Wolf) until I discovered a little booth in the mall that I work in. They pluck your eyebrows with yes, sewing thread. Don't ask me how the tiny Indian girl does it, all I know is that the shape turns out beautiful and is extremely long lasting! Also I was told by this tiny girl that this process that they use is less harmful compared to waxing. Go try it I highly recommend it.

I'm absolutley sadend that all my tv shows are over. Though, I will have alot more time during the week, more time to put into my blog and the list of must reads for the summer. True Blood Season 3 Episode 1 was on Sunday, however I didn't see it. Why? Because I don't have HBO. Let alone every other channel. Of course I had to find some other way to watch this episode and all the others because there is no way no how I will wait until the end of summer for the season to come out on dvd. So, my plan of action was to bribe one of Bobby's computer nerd friends to find me True Blood and burn it :) Bribe was food. And it worked. Bobby's friend came over, I fed the friend and in the end I got to watch my beloved show. I will positively be doing this every week...I have to don't you understand. It's just food.
I also came across a new show on ABC Family called Pretty Little Liars that I am going to follow. There has only been two episode so far and I am hooked with all sorts of questions that I need answered very soon. This show I have also watched online because again I don't have the channel, thank god for Hulu.com.
What sort of shows are you watching? Anything new that I don't know about?

As for reading I have started to re-read the Blue Blood Series by Melissa de la Cruz  since the 5th book is coming out in 2 weeks. If you haven't heard of this particular series it's pretty much Gossip Girl with vampires! Dude, you already know I have a vamp obscession!
Remember way back when I was complaining about Lover Mine by J.R Ward not being available for Kindle well I finally received it and read it in about 2 days :) Best book ever! Can't wait for the next one.
What are you reading? Anything good I should try out?, drop me a line!

We still need a new couch. Our old one is a piece of crap and we desperately need to replace it. I didn't really want to buy anything new because what's the point...we have a 2 year old kid. I've been trying to scope something out on craigslist but no luck there. Reason being is that we live in an old victorian house and the doorways are much too short and so not wide enough for a normal couch. Very irritating if you ask me. So now we are trying to see if we can find something new, that will fit and that we like. Ughhh! If you would like to help or have any suggestions, I would love it hear them. Thanks!

Well, I'm done giving the daily dose of Anita. It's back to work for me tomorrow & daycare for Sebastian!

on a must needed update...

...sorry for my more-than-I-wanted-hiatus. But I needed it. I've been extremely busy with well, life! Plus there were a couple things that I needed to figure out in my head before I could come back to my blogging world. I felt like I was thinking a little too negative lately and I didn't want to bring that into here. Not that I wanted to be away and I won't tell you that this little vaca from my blog won't happen again. But it's sure good to be back. I will say that I felt like I was missing something and it was this. I'm back. And boy! do I have lots to SAY :)

...now for the news that you will be proud to hear for I actually will have lots of time to chit chat with all you fine people and that is because I am temporarily out of work. Yep. Nothing too serious and it sort of is a long story but I will give you the Readers Digest version of it. My little coffee shop is located inside a mall. The health department has told the mall and us that we have to put a solid roof over our kiosk for blah blah blah reasons. Fine with us, it's on the mall to do all that. So time has past, like months and still no roof. Yesterday Dave (the boss) and myself were surprised with a visit for the health department saying they are closing us down until our roof is up... WHHHATT! No words can describe how furious Dave was and of course so was I. I do not know the details on whos fault it is for the delay on the roof, however I do know it was not our responsibliy. So now I am out of work along with my fellow employees until this roof is up and Dave is loosing money in this dilema. Not fun. Hoping everything will work out and soon. Otherwise you will be hearing from me alot more in the up in coming days :)

...going to share with you the wonderfully amazing news that I told you about in the previous post (even though I told you this like a month ago, and for that I am sorry). Julee emailed me on Mother's Day inviting me with her & Glen to California in October. Best part is my best friend in the whole wide world will be going along with them, Tanya who is someone that I miss more than anyone back in Seattle. Can you believe it? I couldn't at first. I opened the email and as I was reading felt like my breaths were getting shallower and heavier. I was basically running out of air. I kept thinking. WOW. Are you serious? Wow. This couldn't be true? Then the second thought in my head was but...Bobby & Sebastian..I told Bobby and the first reation I got from him was a huge smile and "Geez that's really nice of them". Chhhheeeyyahh. After Bobby assured me that we will figure everything out and that we would ask the Grandparents if they can help out since Bobby will have work the days the trip is planned I started to get even more excited. Now everything is looking great and Bobby is even going to take a few day off work and just spend them with Sebastian. I still can't believe it, I'm going to get to spend roughly 5ish days with the three people that mean so much too me in DisneyLand! I know what your thinking though, I already went to DisneyWorld! I know, I know, double wammy all in a year :) Sweet deal. I can not thank Julee & Glen more for giving me this gift! Love them. Aaaand, I GET TO SEE MY TE TE :)

...so happy that Bobby and I splurged on the tickets to the MMRBQ this year. Alice in Chains and STP were amazing. Alice in Chains were great with their long hair and 90's rock attire. The new lead singer is like no other replacment that I've ever seen. He sounds exactly the same as the former lead singer Layne Staley who died in 2002. William DuVall joined them in 2005 & resembles Lenny Kravtiz. For real. STP came on last which I stood for, the whole time singing along and listening plus watching every move Scott Weiland made! He is pure genius. I'm so glad I got see this once in a lifetime performance with both the greatest bands of the 90's!

...got new hair cut. I like it. I know I said I was growing it out but the time came to just say enough is enough. I can deal with the front being long but MY GOD the back was almost down to the tops of my shoulders and in this heat here in Philly, not going to happen. So, I got the back stacked up. Not super short but short enough. It has alot more spunk to it and the color turned out nice.

...our annual trip to Carlisle for the Ford Car Show is just around the corner. As in tomorrow. Heading down there in the late morning as soon as we get ourselves rounded up into both cars. I will be in my Jeepy with Sebastian while Bobby drives his beloved down. Roughly will be a 2 hour drive to the Days Inn that will be staying at, which is actually located inside Harrisburg but is a brand new hotel who is cheaper and closer than any of the other hotels we looked into. I'm excited. The weather report calls for rain but the percentage isn't too bad. I'm not worried about it because we will have fun together no matter what.

...that being said Bobby's birthday will be on Tuesday. Our plans are to head back home from Carlisle on Sunday since I was going to have work on Monday & I still might (who knows) but if not we will be heading down to the New Jersey shore. We will stay until late Tuesday because Bobby is due back to work Wednesday morning. We haven't really planned anything solid for the shore; like where we are staying or what we are doing..but that's the beautey of it! Wing it and do what ever we want to do. Well, what my birthday boy man wants to do, who by the way will be 26 years old ;)

...Sebastian got his first mohawk today! I think it was about time that he sports the do since his momma did at one point in her life. He is so cute and looks like a natural being all punk'd out :)

...well, you will be hearing from me soon! Ta-Ta for now.

Best Regards

on some notables...

First I would like to announce that Sebastian went pee-pee on his potty for the first time monday night :) We usually have him sit down on his Elmo Potty before every bathtime and encourage him to try to tinkle. However lastnight he plopped down and started spurting along, with doing so he was looking down in facination. Of course Bobby and I were hysterical, clapping our hands and cheering him on. He just looked at us beaming with accomplishment and with a smile that could light up the world! I'm so proud of my big boy :)

Every morning I listen to our local rock stations morning show, which is the best thing ever and makes my morning! The guys are hilarious and it's actually very informing. So they talked about Monday night's Phillies game against the Cardinals and what craziness went on & just because I was sitting in the car cracking up with laughter I have to share with you (if you didn't hear or watch the game that is, if you have disregard this. thanks).
Pictures says 1000 words. Mind you I didn't watch the game and heard this on the radio but as the guys, Preston & Steve on WMMR described the events-- this is actully what I saw! A 17 year old kid jumps down on the field serpentining & zig zagging around while a couple securitey guards chased after. The guard shot his stun gun twice & missing but the third was a direct hit. The kid pretty much toppled over in an instant! Take a look...

I guess they are doing an investigation to see if the use of a the stun gun was necessary or not. I don't know about you but I think it was legit. First of all how else would they have stopped the kid. Tackle him? I'm sure if that would of happened he would be experiencing a broken arm or ribs. Listen, from the picture above the kid had to of known what was coming. Obviously the kid was stupid but I give him mad props. And the crowd thought so too! No doubt the kid is going to be a legend at school. That is when he is allowed back! Not only did this happen Monday night but again lastnight, with no tazer this time...geez Phillies fans are crazy!

Today I got off work early to take Sebastian to see an audiologist. It was just something that we needed to do for our own self comfort. Since Sebastian's speech is moving at a slower rate than what they say it should be, we wanted to rule out any hearing problems. Mind you the kid is most definitly NOT deaf, he hears perfectly fine when talked to (listening to what we say is a completely different thing!!). Let me tell you my friend, I was a nervious wreck all day! Not because I think he is deaf or anything of that sort but because I've never been to an audiologist...What is an audiologist do? What are they going to do to my baby????!!!!!!! Are just a few things that were running through my head. I was just freaking out because I had no idea what the procedure was going to be and was going into this thing blind as a bat. Not my cup of tea. But we got there with plenty of time for me to fill out paperwork and hyperventillate...Bobby was there thank god to calm me down and tell me everything is alright. And it was. After going the doctor looked inside his ears and after Sebastian going into a tiny little soundproof room with no air and hot has hell with me--they played different sounds and watched how he reacted to each sound. Which he did just fine. I was just glad to get out of the room, I truely thought I was going to die inside an audiology soundproof room. But I didn't. The doctor came back out after reviewing everything and assured us that Sebastian's hearing is 100% perfect :) Big relief off my shoulders and conscience. Thank you audiologist!

I've finished my book Lover Avenged by J.R Ward. However, Lover Mine the next book is still not out for the Kindle. I'm very dissapointed about that but hey, what can you do? I can write so many emails...they were nice enough to discount the paper back version for me but I'm sorry I want it on my Kindle. So I will wait. I guess. As of right now I have started Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I've heard from many people that it was a great book and I agree already. I'm hooked. I love her and the way she writes. I'm only in the beginning and I already admire how she is so blunt and honest with her life and with the reader about things that she chooses not to share about her life. Very cool. I'm so excited to get more indepth into her grand adventure!

I'll be having a hot date this Saturday. That's right! Date night for us :) Movie and dinner. We've decided that the movie will be Iron Man 2 and dinner will have to be at one of our new favorites Iron Abby which we went to for the first time on Valentines Day. It will be a good time thanks to the inlaws for taking Sebastian in for the evening. We will end up just spending the night since Mothers Day is Sunday :) My second to be exact! I love saying that.

Speaking of fun things happening for Momma & Dadda-- we are going to 93.3 WMMR's annual MMRBQ concert on the 23rd of this month! Bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Three Days Grace, Alice in Chains & Fuel! All four of these bands are on my favorites list and have not yet seen them in concert so I am very pumped. We are going with Chris, Bobby's younger brother and one of his friends. Skipping in glee just thinking about it! Yayyyy!

Life is great & I'm one happy camper. Oh & remember to stay awesome!
